I noticed a lack of GIMP star brushes, so I made some of my own. I belive there are 10 static brushes, from about 100x100 to 5x5, and then 2 animated brushes which have mixed sizes.
Links would be nice, but are not required by any means. Have fun .
yea im really new to gimp and i was wondering if you could tell me how to get these into the brushes section? i downloaded winzip but when i open the program it just comes up as it's own picture... its kind of hard to explain. can you help me with this? it comes up as a backround and i cant access it in "the gimp" panel. please help: email me at Timex3Passes@yahoo.com
if you could, id really appreciate it!
Unzip them, and then copy the .gbr & .gih files to your brushes directory:
Mine is $HOME/.gimp2.0/brushes (should be similar for OSX)
if you run Windows it might be C:\Program Files\Gimp-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\brushes\
The folder will be listed in File>references>Folders>Brushes
