Despite repeated attempts, I could never find any brushes that acted anything like... well, brushes. I know GIMP isn't OC or Painter, but its nice to pretend that I'm holding a brush. Its nice to remember the bits of painting that didn't involve washing the brushes that had been ABUSED by others...
