Literature Text
Look for me where the red sun rises
When the clouds are green and gray
Watch always in the windy desert
By lonely roads I make my way
I will not pass where I am not wanted
Not all paths are at first known
I seek a way to the only end
I pray, and I will reap what I have sown
Then when all trumpets cease to sound
The death of men shall bury his own
Upon the first ocean cliff I will wait
And we will watch the last yellow dawn
When the clouds are green and gray
Watch always in the windy desert
By lonely roads I make my way
I will not pass where I am not wanted
Not all paths are at first known
I seek a way to the only end
I pray, and I will reap what I have sown
Then when all trumpets cease to sound
The death of men shall bury his own
Upon the first ocean cliff I will wait
And we will watch the last yellow dawn
This is a 4-feet poem, rhyming pattern ABCB DEFE GHIH.
